Welcome To Horsham and District Motorcycle and Light Car Club

The Horsham and District Motorcycle and Light Car Club has undergone various changes since its' formation in 1928.

We now focus predominately on operating monthly observed trials all within a 10 mile radius of the West Sussex town of Billingshurst.

While trials are for club members only, we welcome visitors and spectators and are looking to expand club membership. The club prides itself on active encouragement to advance members skills and guidance is always on hand for new beginners.

We are fortunate to have 7 regular locations which are used in rotation and details of the next meet are always communicated to members by postal flyers and via our website.

Club History

Formed by the running of the first meet on the 8th June 1928, the club became affiliated with the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) on the 14th April 1929.

The first grass track meeting was held on Whit Monday 1931 with the first "scramble" (motocross) towards the end of the same year.

The club joined the Star Group Combine on the 1st January 1946.
